Hand Cleanser for Local Small Businesses
I knew I wanted to jump in to help the community once the pandemic started. Fortunately, my skincare company has access to materials needed to create alcohol-based hand gel which is so important for everyone now.
There will be so many challenges for small business owners as they begin to reopen. I decided to support our local community’s needs first. We manufacture in the Philadelphia, PA, USA suburbs and limit hand gel sales to small companies in that area. This way we can support local and minimize shipping costs by delivering product ourselves.
A goal of mine was to avoid any hoarding or reselling of product at unfair prices. There are stories out there about $50-$100 bottles of 8 oz gel to take advantage of consumers and business owners who desperately need to keep themselves, their employees, and their customers safe. Sadly this price gouging has happened before with contagious viruses. For this reason H. Honeycup will do business with local companies we know personally or whom are referred by a reliable source.
Our product is manufactured by Raintree Labs who is a local contract manufacturer owned by my husband Kevin. The team is small although the facility is large so social distancing can be adhered to. This connection enables efficiency and minimum cost.
We decided to make a natural product which is consistent with our brand’s mission. Therefore we use alcohol, essential oils, and natural moisturizing ingredients. The product is available in cases (12) of 4 oz bottles.
Due to global shortages of raw materials, we will continue to offer the hand gel while supplies last. Then we will resume when materials again become available. Kevin has many long term contacts in the industry which helps keep product in stock.
Where are we located? In the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, USA. Our immediate area is the Main Line and we will deliver within a 25 mile radius of Wayne, PA.
Local companies can contact us at info@hhoneycup.com to inquire. Thank you to local businesses for your resilience and community focus.
Take care, Cindy and Kevin
