Upcycle Your Skincare Containers
What is Upcycling?
Upcycling creates less trash by reusing and transforming the containers and other things you already have. Brilliant! The examples below save you money and if your items are biodegradable at least they don’t end up floating in the ocean.- use old fabric and towels as drop cloths or rags
- reuse paper in packages you receive for future packages you ship
- get a refill on liquid products
- repurpose skincare and cosmetic containers

Upcycling bottles, jars, paper tubes
First try to get refills of your products so the original container lives on. Afterward remove the label from glass using rubbing alcohol, sterilize and use for countless things. The possibilities are endless.
Glass Jar:
- Terrarium
- DIY skincare ingredients
- snacks
- organize craft materials
- store tea or spices
Glass Bottle:
- portable water spray
- a vase
- DIY bath oil blends
Glass Vile:
- row of vases
- travel size toiletries
- store sand from fave beach
Paperboard tubes (sanitize first)
- plant seeds
- use it as a little gift box
- battery candle holder
Have fun upcycling! You’ll love the feeling of helping the planet.
